Whole Grain Bread Wheat Flour, Stone Ground
Discover the essence of wholesome goodness with our Whole Grain, Stone Ground Bread Wheat Flour. A grain of wheat holds the majority of its flavour in the bran and germ where it also stores its oils. Removing these components gives flour extended shelf life, but refining flour does come at the cost of losing the distinctive character and a lot of the health benefits that we associate with whole grain flour. Our whole grain wheat flour is made using 100% of the grain.
At Brow Farm we grow the wheat, harvest, clean and grade it, and finally dry and store it until needed. We use the highest grade grain to make this flour, and our own stone mill – proudly reintroducing Lancashire’s first whole grain stone ground flour to be sold in 20 years.
Our wheat is freshly milled to order so that it arrives at your door in top condition. We would suggest avoiding purchasing large quantities though, unless you plan to use it promptly, or freeze it to prolong its freshness.
