Wheat Seed for Sprouting
Our whole winter wheat seed is ideal for sprouting, and also suitable for planting or food use. Grown and harvested on our farm in Lancashire using regenerative methods, this winter wheat is carefully dried using cool air to a moisture content of 14%—a process that protects the seed’s natural germination rate by avoiding heat damage.
These undressed and untreated grains are free from chemicals, making them a great choice for:

Sprout these seeds at any time of year and add to breakfast cereals such as muesli, desserts, salads, and more. Wheat sprouts are a rich source of vitamins and minerals, including Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, C, E, plus iodine, potassium, manganese, sodium, niacin, pantothenic acid, phosphorus, sulphur, and zinc.
Please note: While this wheat is not certified seed, it is viable and often used for small-scale sowing or experimentation. As a winter variety, it’s typically planted in autumn and harvested the following summer.
