Create your own naturally supportive beanbag — the sustainable way

This DIY beanbag kit includes everything you need to create your own naturally supportive seat at home. Inside your parcel you’ll find a soft outer cover and zipped inner case, as well as the required volume of clean buckwheat hulls. Simply tie the inner to the outer, pour in the hulls, zip up, and enjoy a beanbag that moulds perfectly to your shape. Full instructions are included to guide you through the simple filling process.

Buckwheat hulls are a biodegradable, eco-friendly alternative to polystyrene balls. They provide firm, stable support and a wonderfully grounded feel – ideal for reading corners, yoga or meditation spaces, or relaxed lounging. Please note, they are heavier than polystyrene filling, giving your finished beanbag a more substantial weight and premium quality.

Available in three sizes and six colours:
Small (Volume ~70L, weight ~11kg, 55×55×70cm) – ideal for ages 4–7
Medium (Volume ~170L, weight ~20kg, 70×70×90cm)
Large (Volume ~255L, weight ~30kg, 90×90×100cm) – ships in two parcels

Both inner and outer are 100% cotton and washable at 40°C. The inner is flame-retardant using a vegetable-based treatment, and our hulls meet UK fire safety standards.
